32 SMALL SPACECRAFT ARE READY FOR THE LAUNCH FROM VOSTOCHNY COSMODROME AS SECONDARY PAYLOADS

On June 27, integration of the Upper Composite of Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle comprised of the Fregat upper stage, Russian satellite Meteor-M 2-2 and 32 secondary payload spacecraft was completed at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the LV Assembly Integration and Test Building with participation of specialists of JSC GK Launch Services, JSC Glavkosmos, and foreign customers.



Under the contracts between a customer from Germany, Exolaunch GmbH and JSC Glavkosmos, 28 satellites will be launched in the interests of Germany, France, USA, Israel, Great Britain, Sweden, Finland, Thailand, Ecuador, the Czech Republic and Estonia.

Under the contract between JSC GK Launch Services and the British company SSTL, a technology demonstration satellite will be launched.

Besides, within the framework of the Roscosmos State Corporation’s program for the development and launch of small satellites designed by Russian universities, along with the Meteor-M 2-2, the carrier rocket will orbit three Russian research and education CubeSats -Socrat, AmurSat and VDNH-80 - built at Russian universities.
